The young Celine from one of Stockholm’s suburbs is ”discovered” and starts working as a model.
At the same time she meets her first serious love. On trembling steps into the adult world she suddenly finds herself in two incompatible realities. Lust filled innocence, and terrifying physical intoxication forming a cruel parallel universe that opens up to the young girl. She fights violently to keep her identity, not to lose herself.

REVIEWS
A heart-rending tale of young love told with such distress that one sometimes wonders why the pages aren’t crumpled up with dried tears.
Expressen.
Celine feels that she is being shattered to pieces, that she can’t keep a grip of her life, doesn’t know how to move forward. The novel is engaging, the language beautiful.
Borås Tidning.
Magnificently written, lyrical and fast-paced love story that is hard to put down. One merely wants more, more, more!
Författarcentrum.
With a trance-like narrative and polished pulsating prose, this novel beguiles with its intense emotions and enthralling psychological desolation.
